As a dedicated psychiatrist, my mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals seeking support for their mental health and well-being. I want to empower them to live fulfilling and meaningful lives free from the limitations of mental health challenges.
MEET WILLIAM
William Torres Carbonell is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a master’s Degree from Florida International University (FIU). He graduated with magna cum laude distinction in 2020 and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Psychiatry at FIU to be completed in 2025. He is also a foreign medical doctor from Cuba, graduating with honors in 2001 from Universidad de Ciencias Medicas de Santiago de Cuba.
William is a compassionate psychiatric provider who enjoys collaborating with patients and families to treat and manage mental health disorders across all age groups. He has a background in neurosciences with years of experience in neurology and neurophysiology in Cuba. He also has extensive experience in community mental health services and advocacy, including past collaboration as a liaison for the Jail Diversion Program at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.
Currently, he is the President and lead psychiatric provider at RiseUp Health Group, his private psychiatric practice. He is also the President of WeCare Telehealth, a faith-based non-profit organization that helps individuals unable to afford medical care in Florida and other countries. William is fluent in English and Spanish and loves sports, traveling, playing piano, home projects, and spending time with his family.

Jaime Zaragoza Sosa

As a Mental Health Provider, my goal is to help others feel valued and supported as they navigate their mental health journey towards a more fulfilling life. It is a privilege to help guide each patient toward renewed strength, self-discovery, and lasting well-being through compassionate, evidence-based care.
MEET JAIME
Jaime Zaragoza Sosa is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who brings a deep passion for mental health care rooted in both personal and professional experiences. Originally from Cuba, Jaime began his medical education there before moving to the United States to pursue a career in nursing. Inspired by his mother, a psychologist in Cuba, Jaime developed an early interest in the emotional and psychological well-being of others.

He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from St. Thomas University, graduating as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2023, and getting his Board Certification in 2024. During his training, Jaime completed a year of clinical internship at Broward Addiction Recovery Center (BARC), where he provided care to individuals facing a wide range of psychiatric and substance use disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Since 2024, Jaime has worked in inpatient mental health settings, focusing on comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management for patients with mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, and dual diagnoses. His approach is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and grounded in evidence-based care.
Jaime is fluent in English and Spanish and is committed to creating a safe, collaborative space where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered on their path to recovery.
Outside of work, he enjoys music, photography, spending time with family, and learning new things to continuously improve his practice.

Aracelly Herrera

With a deep commitment to psychiatric care, I aim to deliver personalized psychiatric care guided by a holistic and inclusive approach and strive to offer mental health care that honors each person’s unique journey, culture, and strength.
MEET ARACELLY
Aracelly Herrera is a compassionate and highly skilled Nurse practitioner. She is dual-board certified in both psychiatric mental health and family practice, allowing her to provide well-rounded, integrated care to her patients. A graduate of the University of Miami, Aracelly combines holistic, evidence-based, collaborative, and culturally competent approaches in her work. Her nursing journey began in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), followed by roles in the Children’s Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, outpatient pediatrics, and family medicine in a retail clinic setting. These diverse experiences shaped her comprehensive approach to healthcare—integrating physical, emotional, and behavioral well-being.

While her clinical background is broad, Aracelly has always had a deep passion for psychiatry. That passion led her to pursue advanced training in mental health, with a focus on delivering compassionate, personalized psychiatric care that meets each patient's unique needs. Fluent in Spanish and English, she is deeply committed to serving the diverse needs of her community. Aracelly was honored as Nurse Practitioner of the Year in 2022, recognized for her excellence , expertise, and commitment to compassionate care and strong patient-provider relationships, and is consistently praised for her high patient satisfaction scores. Her dedication to health equity and global care led her to participate in a medical mission to Peru, where she helped underserved populations receive vital care. At the heart of her practice is a belief that healing happens when we treat the whole person- mind, body and spirit. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression , trauma or seeking support for overall mental wellness, Aracelly is here to walk alongside you with empathy and clinical expertise.
Outside of clinical work, Aracelly values balance and wellness. She enjoys exercise, traveling, and spending quality time with her loved ones and Goldendoodle.
